I seemed to go through a phase of only shooting girls. That’s how it seemed anyway. And then one day last year I met these three absolutely ridiculously lovely, charming boys. They are a true delight and a total credit to the people raising them. Back then little Jude was just 10 days old so it was lovely to get to see the family again as he was nearing One! Such a milestone.
This session was mainly spent letting the boys just ‘be’ together and letting little Jude crawl his way around. At one point he was practically eating his brothers face! When you let the kids just ‘be’ at a family session you leave space to capture there personalities. Rather than just encouraging them to just smile for the camera or get the cheesy shots (I’ll always get a few ’look at the camera and smile’ shots when I’m with you) I always aim to capture personality and in the moment frames that will ignite memories as the years pass.
