A MATERNITY PHOTO SESSION AT HOME IN HAMPSHIRE

When it comes to maternity photos, there’s an undeniable appeal to the traditional studio shoot—soft lighting, elaborate backdrops, and the glowing mother-to-be dressed in flowing gowns. But more and more, I’m seeing clients opt for something a little different: maternity sessions in the comfort of their own homes. And honestly, as a photographer, I’m all for it. There’s something inherently intimate and timeless about capturing these moments in a space where you truly feel at ease.

It doesn’t have to be about extravagant props or over-the-top setups. You don’t need to be bathed in outdoor golden light at sunset with your feet in a stream. For me, and my Clients, It’s about the quiet elegance of natural light, the simple beauty of your surroundings, and the subtle details that make your home uniquely yours.
