A Barnutopia Wedding

Angela & Rob's Festival Wedding!

Being a Hampshire Wedding Photographer, I didn't quite expect to shoot this festival themed wedding at Barnutopia, on the Shropshire/Welsh border! But I'm glad I did! Every bit of this wedding was well thought out and very personal to the Bride and Groom. Most traditions were far from their thoughts but they also weren't anti them either. If it fit, it got to sit.

Angela and Rob woke up on the wedding morning together in one of the Yurts on the site of Barnutopia. I just love the setting of this venue, it has such stunning countryside views which includes the cutest lambs! They also have resident marriage counsellors in the form of Pigs (Felix was my favourite!). The couple and their friends decorated the venue with bright coloured pompoms and streamers.

Ange's dress was designed by herself and Phiney Edmundson from Poppy Perspective. Angela wasn't sure she wanted a bridal bouquet but her Mum was hearing of no such thing so had Hobo Floral Design create these bouquets which were a perfect fit. Ange's friend, Maya Lewis MUA was on hand to help her look fabulous. She also designed her own butterfly crown which I just loved. Clever lady! The look was completed by nude Kurt Geiger heels for the ceremony and rainbow sequin trainers by Aldo for the remainder of the day! The whimsical style of the lilac Bridesmaid dress from Asos worked really well with the multi coloured theme.

Their good friend Selly was the Celebrant for the day (the name is a coincidence I promise!) and they planted a tree to mark their ceremony in the hope of returning for years to come to watch it grow.

The Guests (and myself) were treated to fresh seafood and veggie paella cooked fresh on site by the lovey SuCasa Cuisine and entertainment from Massaoke and Funky Inc Mobile Disco Telford.

The sun shone perfectly all day and really was the icing on this cake (Beth Bakes) for this lovely couple.

If you're having festival themed wedding in Hampshire and are still looking for a wedding photographer then get in touch, I'd love to chat.

All the best Mr & Mrs Willens! x
